Most people that know me know that I am a lover of LimeLife by Alcone! Growing up my skincare routine consisted of a makeup wipe and maybe dove soap when I took a shower. As I get older I am learning how important it is to be consistent with your skin care. You only get one skin, just like. you only get one body so why not take care of it. Something I am working on daily is taking care of the ONE body God gave me. When I first started looking into LimeLife by Alcone it wasn't for the skincare, it was for the makeup. As soon as I bought the makeup I fell I love with the fact that it was paraben free, chemical free, leaping bunny certified, gluten free, and so many other amazing benefits. As I wore the makeup I was noticing different things on my skin such as the texture, the brightness, and the imperfections that kept popping up. I realized it was time for me to step up on my skincare game and be more consistent. If you want to love your makeup then you have to love your skin that you are putting it on. Having a good base is KEY to loving the makeup you wear!
Lets start with my skin type! I am dry typically but it will be a year of me using LimeLife by Alcone products and I can already tell my body is producing the right amount of oils and I am starting to become a little more oily! Which I am soo excited about!
When I first started using their products I was using the cleanser called Quench Cleanse which is for normal to dry skin. Quench Cleanse is incredibly effective cleanser that focuses on hydrating and balancing, as well as calming common issues that arise with aging, sun damage, and troubled skin. The Aloe Vera in this cleanser creates a shield that keeps moisture in and pollutants out, while Rose Flower Water from Bulgaria hydrates and soothes. Nutrient-rich Wheat Germ Oil and Foraha Fruit Seed Oil help revitalize skin and reverse the effects of aging. If your EXTREMELY dry with zero oils, I highly suggest you use Quench Cleanse.
After 9 months of only using Quench Cleanse, I could tell my body was producing some oils and I was having some break outs thats were driving me crazy which led me to my new nighttime routine cleanser called Dream Clean. Dream Clean is an amazing cleanser that gently foams as a result of its natural fruit extract, Soapberry. This ingredient also combats acne-causing bacteria and inhibits melanin production, reducing the appearance of age spots and sun damage. The Aloe Vera in this cleanser creates a shield to keep moisture in and pollutants out, while Extract of White Tea adds antioxidant benefits and Spirulina Platensis Algae firms skin.

No matter what cleanser I use, the next two steps are MAJOR for anyone that is wanting to combat aging, wrinkles, and all the things that come with getting older. This may be backwards to some, but in my research and my brain it makes sense to use my facial oil before I use my moisturizer. Why? With any oil, its meant to sink into the top layers of the skin. With moisturizer, it is mostly water and is meant to sink into the deeper layers of the skin. Therefore I put the facial oil on first, then my moisturizer to help deepen the facial oil to reach lower levels of my skin! Makes sense to me :)
Which brings me to my second step! ONE DROP WONDER!! It’s truly a wonder and such an amazing product. One Drop Wonder is Pomifera Oil, cold-pressed from the Osage Orange Fruit Seed. Last but not least is Sotoks! If you watch my live videos on Facebook, then you already know this is my holy grail and I use it for moisturizing and the boost that it gives my skin.
